Changing or Customizing Your Trip

Changing your departure or package

With our Carefree Booking policy, you have the flexibility to change your departure or even your package with no fees or penalties until your final payment due date—60 days prior to departure in most cases.

After this, changes to your package or departure date may not be possible or will incur change fees.

Customizing your trip

Want to depart from a different city? Stay a few extra days? Add an extra stop? Take two tours, back-to-back? In most cases, it's no problem, and we're happy to oblige. You can request a change when you book. Or complete your booking and then contact us about the change you'd like to make. If it's possible, we'll let you know the price and availability.

Depending on the change, a per-person fee may apply (see below), included in your quote. This ensures the same careful research and planning that we put into building our packages. If your change requires additional costs or fees for airfare, extra hotel nights, extra transfers, etc., your quote will include those too.*

CHANGE FEES: Except when covered by our Carefree Booking policy, most Changes and Customizations are subject to fees. When you request a change, we will advise you of the applicable costs and fees or include them in your quote. The fee schedule below currently applies.

Once we get back to you with a quote, it's only valid for a limited time. If you accept our quote, we'll add the amount to your balance due, which you can pay by your final payment due date. In some cases, an additional deposit may be required to confirm your change.

If you request a change that includes or affects flights, we may only be able to guarantee the price and availability of that change if we ticket your flights. If you request this option, the total cost of those flights will generally be nonrefundable and exempt from our Carefree Booking policy.

* The Fine Print about Changes & Customizations: Fees listed above are for changes prior to final payment and/or airline tickets being issued. For this package, we generally issue tickets after the final payment due date. Any change affecting flights requested after we've issued your tickets may incur change fees assessed by the airline or require the purchase of new airfare. Please see the terms & conditions for your package for more information.

† The Carefree Booking policy is not travel insurance and only applies to a new booking—defined as booking without the use of funds on file from a previous cancellation. With our Carefree Booking policy, if you book one of our scheduled departures and decide later not to travel for any reason, you can transfer all payments you've made excluding the cost of any issued flight tickets, towards another available departure date or package, with no change fees or penalties.

Alternately, you can choose to receive a future travel credit for all payments made, excluding the cost of any issued flight tickets; or you can choose to receive a refund for that same amount, minus the deposit, per person future travel credit.

You may use these credits anytime, however they must be used or transferred within 5 years of your booking.

The Carefree Booking policy only applies to your original booking—limiting rebookings to one. Subsequent bookings will be subject to standard cancellation penalties. Additionally, any coupon or discount (other than our Instant Savings) does not transfer from the cancelled booking and therefore will not be applied to the new booking.

Travel protection premiums may be credited to your new tour provided: no claim is filed; (no vendor penalties such as Air, sea or rail etc have been incurred); and your new trip departs within 1 year of the cancellation of your original tour.

Valid for bookings made on or after September 23, 2022 Offer may not be available on all packages, including private and custom group departures and Biblical Journeys. Changes or cancellations requested after final payment due date are subject to our regular change and cancellation fees & policies.
