Weather | France is best seen April through October with temps in the mid 70's to the 90's. Temps increase as you head south. August tends to be very hot and devoid of locals since that is when they take their vacations. Take a sweater for nights. |
Tipping | 10-15% is added on to restaurant bills. Hotel staff expect gratuity. Taxis are not tipped unless they carry baggage although it is polite to round the fare up. |
